Think & Prototype
You arrive with an idea (or find one on Day 1). You leave with a working prototype and a clear brief. The goal is to move from vague ambition to a concrete, buildable thing — fast.
Block 1
Frame the problem & pick your idea
- Articulate a real problem worth solving
- Choose one idea and write a one-page brief
- Understand what makes a prototype useful vs. a toy
Block 2
Direct the agent — first working app
- Set up Cursor and your development environment
- Write a lightweight PRD the agent can act on
- Generate a first working app and understand what the agent produced
Build & Ship
You test your prototype with real people, turn the feedback into changes, and deploy to a live URL. By the end of Day 2, your app is on the internet.
Block 3
Get feedback — user testing in the field
- Run a quick, bias-aware user test
- Synthesize findings into a prioritized change list
- Direct the agent to implement the highest-value changes
Block 4
Ship it — git, GitHub, and cloud deploy
- Understand git and GitHub well enough to use them confidently
- Deploy your app to the cloud and get a live, shareable URL
- Know how to push updates and redeploy
Fortify & Extend
Your app is live. Now you make it real: add a database, connect an API, add an AI feature, and learn to review and refine the agent's work. The day ends with a gallery walk.
Block 5
Add power — APIs, databases, and secrets
- Call a live public API from your app
- Add a real database (Postgres) and persist data
- Keep secrets safe server-side — no exposed API keys
Block 6
Add intelligence, review the work, and demo
- Add an AI feature using a cloud AI API
- Review the agent's output critically — read what it built, catch what it got wrong
- Level up your briefing: how to instruct the agent for quality, safety, and intent — not just speed
- Gallery walk — every participant demos their live app
